Piazza Navona

To visit the Piazza Navona in Rome we suggest you to take one of the many local buses to reach this famous square. Please also ask our reception staff on how to reach Piazza Navona.
The best time to visit Piazza Navona is in the late afternoon, when the square is filled with entertainers, artists, painters and cartoonists, caricaturists and many Romans for a walk before dinner.
The most famous architectural structures of the square are the Fountain by Bernini and the S.Agnese’s Church  of Borromini. Bernini was a great rival of Borromini and Rome  contains many fine examples of their work.

Did you know? The word Navona comes from Latin and means Ship. The square is so called because of its shape.
